Pulleys
Pulley Lagging is one of the biggest jobs here at APT. It is always a challenge that we endeavour to take on and we have all the equipment to achieve the best results possible. Advanced Polymer Technology can offer high performance polyurethane to lag all types and sizes of pulleys. The lagging of the pulley increases the friction coefficient between the pulley and the belt. It is also used to help prevent material build-up, wear and abrasion. Polyurethane is an easy, economical surface and is cheaper to recover or replace than the pulley itself. In saying that, polyurethane lasts for many years and is the perfect surface for any long lasting product.
