Abrasive Blasting
Abrasive blasting is a new element to our company. We have built our sandblasting units to accommodate for all types of work to ensure our clients have a “one stop shop” where all their needs are covered. We have two sandblasting chambers, one booth of 36 square metres and the second a sandblasting cabinet. The large blasting unit is stocked with GL-40 Steel Grit which achieves a very rough profile so the polyurethane can obtain a sufficient hold to the metal for a long lasting grip. The small booth however, is stocked with glass beads called Ballotini Impact which results in a smoother finish, this is perfect for alumina parts or painting jobs. Both our booths can achieve a light whip blast all the way up to a white metal 2 ½ class finish.
